Day 1: Arrival in Irkutsk & Journey to Listvyanka
Arrival in Irkutsk and meet your guide.
Depart for Listvyanka, making a stop at the "Taltsy" Museum of Wooden Architecture - one of Russia's finest open-air museums.
This museum showcases structures from the first Siberian settlers, including wooden forts (ostrog) from the 17th-18th centuries, merchant houses, affluent landowners' homes, and a church school.
The museum provides a glimpse into the everyday life of early Siberians.
After, continue your journey to Listvyanka, stopping at the source of the Angara River, the only river flowing out of Lake Baikal.
Enjoy lunch with local cuisine at a restaurant.
In the afternoon, visit the Baikal Museum, where you'll learn about the history of the lake, see aquariums with Baikal fish, and even encounter a live seal!
Check into your hotel.

Day 2: Journey across Baikal Ice to Sandy Bay
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel.
Meet your guide and walk to the embarkation point for a hovercraft ride - the primary mode of transportation across Baikal ice.
Today's adventure takes you across the frozen lake to Sandy Bay, one of Baikal's most scenic spots. This bay features two sandy coves surrounded by coniferous forests. It's inaccessible by road and only reachable by ice in winter and water in summer.
Discover the unique "stilted trees" - pines growing out of the sand, their exposed roots making them appear to walk along the shore.
En route to the bay, you'll stop at a couple of locations with pristine ice and towering ice hummocks reaching human height.
Lunch will be a packed lunch box (there are no restaurants, cafes, or shops at the bay), accompanied by hot tea.
Return to Listvyanka by 5:30 PM.
Enjoy free time in the evening.

Day 3: Exploring Olkhon Island
Breakfast at your hotel.
Today's journey takes you to Olkhon Island.
En route, you'll stop at Ust-Orda and visit the "Golden Horde" Ethno-park. This park offers insights into the customs and traditions of the local indigenous people, the Buryats.
Explore the small ethno-park, witness how nomadic Mongolian tribes lived on the shores of Baikal, and participate in a hands-on workshop for making buuza (pozy) - a type of dumpling similar to khinkali or large pelmeni, which you'll then enjoy during lunch.
Upon arriving at Olkhon Island, transfer to UAZ vehicles, the main means of transportation on the island.
Check into your hotel and enjoy free time.

Day 4: Olkhon Island and Baikal Ice
Breakfast at your hotel.
Today's focus is on exploring Olkhon Island and the pristine Baikal ice.
Olkhon is the perfect spot to witness the vastness of the frozen sea, stretching for miles.
Experience icy grottos and frozen water formations on the cliffs that create intricate shapes - highlights of today's excursion.
You'll have the chance to ice skate across Baikal during the excursion.
Enjoy a picnic by the campfire during the tour, featuring aromatic fish soup made with Baikal fish.
Return to your hotel by 5:30 PM.
Enjoy free time.

Day 5: Farewell to Baikal and Return to Irkutsk
Breakfast at your hotel.
Check out of your hotel.
Transfer back to the mainland by UAZ across the ice.
Near the ferry crossing, you'll stop for lunch at an interesting location, Yeti Station. Transparent spheres are set up on the cleared Baikal ice, where you'll enjoy lunch with a tasting of Siberian delicacies.
This is the perfect place to savor a delicious meal, capture stunning photos, and bid farewell to Baikal.
Return to Irkutsk.
Transfer by bus/minivan to Irkutsk.
Upon arrival, enjoy a walk through the city center and explore the historical heart of Eastern Siberia's capital.
Check into your hotel.
Relax for the evening.
