Day 1:
Arrival in Irkutsk, meet your guide at the airport.
Today you will get to know the capital of Eastern Siberia, “the Siberian Paris” – Irkutsk. During a guided tour you will learn interesting facts from the city's history, stories about wealthy merchant patrons, about the wives of Decembrists and unique wooden houses, many of which have been preserved in the city center.
You will see:
Historical center / Kirov Square
Znamensky Monastery and the monument to Kolchak
Wooden houses of Irkutsk
Karl Marx Street / Lenin Street
Angara River embankment / monument to Alexander III
130th quarter
Lunch at a local restaurant
Check-in at the hotel
Rest after the flight before the busy tour program

Day 2:
Breakfast at the hotel.
09.30 – Departure to Listvyanka
On the way we will make a stop at one of the best open-air museums in Russia - the Taltsy Museum of Wooden Architecture.
On the vast territory of the museum, buildings of the first settlers of Siberia are collected – wooden ostrogs of the 17th-18th centuries, merchant houses, wealthy landowners, a church school – all gathered in one place to show you the life of the first Siberians.
After that, we will move to Listvyanka – a stop at the source of the Angara River – the only river flowing out of Lake Baikal.
Lunch with local cuisine at the restaurant.
After lunch, we will visit the Baikal Museum – learn everything about Baikal, see aquariums with Baikal fish and even see a live seal!
Return to Irkutsk.

Day 3:
Breakfast at the hotel.
Today we are going to Olkhon Island.
On the way, we will stop in the village of Ust-Orda.
There we will visit the “Golden Horde” ethno-park – where we will learn about the life and traditions of the local indigenous people – the Buryats. We will walk through the small ethno-park, see how nomadic Mongolian tribes lived on the shores of Baikal. There you will also take part in a master class in preparing a national dish – buuza (pozy) – a dish similar to khinkali or large dumplings, which you will then try during lunch.
Upon arrival at Olkhon Island, we will transfer to UAZ cars – the main means of transportation around the island.
Upon arrival at the hotel, check-in, free time.

Day 4:
Breakfast at the hotel.
Today the whole day is dedicated to Olkhon Island and the pure ice of Baikal. Olkhon is the best place to see it for miles ahead – the boundless frozen sea!
Ice grottoes, frozen splashes of water on the rocks, which create intricate figures – the main attractions of today.
During the excursion, you will have the opportunity to ride on the ice of Baikal on skates. A campfire picnic during the excursion. You will be served fragrant fish soup from Baikal fish!
Return to the hotel by 5:30 pm.
Free time.

Day 5:
Breakfast at the hotel.
Check-out, transfer on the ice to the mainland on UAZs.
Transfer to the bus/minivan – transfer to Irkutsk.
On the way, we will stop for lunch at a local cafe.
Check-in at the hotel.
Rest.

Day 6:
Breakfast at the hotel.
End of the tour.
On request, you can arrange a transfer to the airport/train station.
