DAY 1
Arrival in Irkutsk, meeting with the guide at the airport.
After receiving your luggage, we will immediately head to the shore of Lake Baikal towards Olkhon Island.
Along the way, we will stop for lunch at a local cafe – we will try traditional dishes of the local indigenous people – the Buryats.
Upon arrival at Olkhon Island, we will transfer to an air-cushioned vessel – a Khivus – the main means of transportation across the ice of Lake Baikal.
On the Khivus, we will travel to Ogoy Island – we will see the Buddhist stupa located on the island. Legend has it that to make a wish, you need to go around the stupa an odd number of times, the more times, the greater the chance that the wish will come true.
We will stop by ice caves and grottos.
Upon arrival at the village of Khuzhir, transfer to the hotel, where a hot dinner will be waiting for us.

DAY 2
Breakfast at the hotel.
Today is dedicated entirely to Olkhon Island and the pristine ice of Lake Baikal.
Olkhon is the best place to see the purest ice of Lake Baikal – a boundless frozen sea!
Ice grottos, frozen splashes of water on rocks, creating intricate shapes – these are the main attractions of today.
During the tour, there will be an opportunity to ride on the ice of Lake Baikal on skates.
Picnic by the fire during the tour. You will be treated to aromatic fish soup made from Baikal fish!
Return to the village of Khuzhir by 5:00 PM.
The tour will end near Cape Burkhan – Shamanka Rock – a sacred place where, according to legend, the spirit of Lake Baikal – Burkhan – lives.

DAY 3
Breakfast at the hotel.
Check-out, transfer across the ice to the mainland on UAZ vehicles.
Transfer to a bus/minivan – transfer to Irkutsk.
We will stop for lunch along the way.
Upon arrival in Irkutsk – City Tour – you will get acquainted with the capital of Eastern Siberia, “the Siberian Paris.”
During the tour, you will learn interesting facts from the history of the city, stories about wealthy merchants-philanthropists, about the wives of the Decembrists, and unique wooden houses, many of which have been preserved in the city center.
